Thursday: Expect showers in the North Tropical Coast, Torres Strait, and inland South East Queensland with a slight chance of a thunderstorm in the early evening. The east coast and southern inland will be partly cloudy while other areas will be mostly clear. Winds will be light to moderate from the northeast to southeasterly direction, occasionally freshening along the Peninsula east coast.
Friday: Isolated showers and thunderstorms likely in SE Queensland and inland to Carnarvon Ranges/Dalby. Scattered showers in SE Queensland, Torres Strait. Mostly sunny in far west, partly cloudy elsewhere. Wind change in south/central interior. Near/below average minimum temps. Max temps near/above average, higher in SE, lower in SW. High fire danger in interior/northwest.
