Blocking lows

Recently we have seen multiple East Coast Lows develop off the coast of NSW which have distorted, pushed South or cancelled out potential trade winds. East Coast Lows (ECL) occur multiple times a year along the eastern coast of Australia, but are most common in Autumn and Winter, with June being peak time.
