Climate Science Trust and Fairness

You’ll often hear the phrase “trust the science” used in public debate. The challenge is that many people repeating it are not scientists themselves. They may not fully understand the evidence, but they want to signal that science is important. That’s fair enough — but it also creates space for lazy arguments that don’t help anyone.
