🐣🥚🌷Easter Bonus 🐰🥚🔍
Easter Weather Highlights (April 19–22, 2025):
🌡️ Hottest Days:Birdsville took the crown for Easter heat, reaching a scorching 34.0°C on April 19 — classic outback weather. Close behind were Mount Isa and Cloncurry, peaking above 34°C early in the weekend.
❄️ Coolest Escape:Looking to chill out? Toowoomba dropped to a brisk 10.5°C on April 22, with Tully and Charleville also dipping into the mid-teens for that crisp autumn morning feel.
🌧️ Rainy Easter:Cape York copped the most consistent rainfall, especially on April 21 with 8.8 mm, while Brisbane recorded a notable 8.4 mm on April 22. Not ideal for outdoor egg hunts there!
🌞 Dry and Sunny:If clear skies were on your wishlist, Normanton, Mount Isa, Cloncurry, Hughenden, and Winton had zero rainfall all weekend — perfect for barbecues, camping, or road-tripping under uninterrupted blue skies.
Satellite - Rain Accumulation - Storms
Rain typically refers to steady, continuous precipitation that lasts for a longer period, sometimes hours or even days. It can vary in intensity, but it's usually more consistent and widespread.
Showers, on the other hand, are shorter bursts of rain, often intermittent. They can be heavy but usually don't last long. Showers are more sporadic and may be followed by dry periods or other types of weather, like sun or clouds.
