Significant showers and thunderstorms are expected across eastern New South Wales, southern Queensland, and southern Northern Territory due to a trough and frontal system. Meanwhile, lighter showers are anticipated along a weakening trough in inland Western Australia. Coastal South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, and northeastern Queensland will experience showers and alpine snowfall influenced by onshore winds associated with a nearby high-pressure system.
