National

Humid easterly winds over NSW will gradually diminish as a high pressure system moves in from the west, limiting showers to the coastal areas. Instability will lead to a few showers and storms in southwest WA. Rain is expected to develop in Tasmania ahead of an approaching cold front. Additionally, the high pressure system will drive some showers across eastern Queensland and the northeast of the Northern Territory.
