In the southwest of WA, a cold front will bring showers, and the coasts of Queensland, Victoria, and New South Wales will experience showers accompanied by humid and cooling winds, which will gradually ease in Victoria.

Victoria's high will weaken to a ridge as a new high forms southwest of Tasmania. Winds in Queensland will shift onshore, bringing moisture inland. The new high will move towards the Tasman Sea, maintaining the ridge over Queensland. Unsettled weather is possible in western Queensland from mid next week.
