A high-pressure system will maintain calm, dry conditions across much of South Australia, Victoria, inland New South Wales, and central Australia. Meanwhile, a cooling, moist airstream will bring showers to southwest Western Australia and western Tasmania. Additionally, showers are expected along the coasts of Queensland and New South Wales, and possibly in the northeast of the Northern Territory due to humid winds.

High near Tasmania keeps ridge over Queensland with onshore winds, showers in east. New high over southeastern Australia on Sunday extends ridge over Queensland next week. Weak trough may cause unsettled conditions in western Queensland.

Regional Round-Up North Tropical Coast and Tablelands:

Max temperature: 28°C, Min temperature: 15°C, Wind speed: 20 to 30 km/h, Wind direction: East to southeasterly, Rainfall: Medium chance of showers in the south and slight chance elsewhere, Other: Partly cloudy. Overnight temperatures falling to between 15 and 21.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:

The weather forecast indicates daytime temperatures ranging from 24 to 29 degrees with light winds becoming easterly at 15 to 20 km/h and minimal chances of rain, along with overnight temperatures dropping to 13 to 18 degrees and a partly cloudy sky.

Central Coast and Whitsundays:

The weather forecast includes a max temperature of 28, a min temperature of 13, wind speeds of 15 to 25 km/h from east to southeasterly, a slight chance of showers in the late morning and afternoon, and partly cloudy conditions.

Peninsula:

The weather forecast for tomorrow includes a max temperature of 30°C, min temperature between 18-23°C, wind speed at 20-30 km/h from the east to southeast, slight chance of showers on the east coast, near zero chance of rain elsewhere, and 'Partly cloudy' conditions.

Gulf Country:

Capricornia:

The weather forecast includes maximum temperatures in the low to mid 20s, minimum temperatures between 9 and 16, light winds becoming southeasterly at 15 to 20 km/h, with "Partly cloudy. Slight chance of a shower near the coast in the morning and afternoon. Near zero chance of rain elsewhere."

Central Highlands and Coalfields:

Maximum temperature in the mid to high 20s, minimum temperature between 7 and 14, wind becoming E to SE 15-20 km/h, Partly cloudy skies with light winds shifting to light in the afternoon.

Central West:

Partly cloudy weather with daytime temperatures in the mid to high 20s, overnight temperatures between 11 and 15, easterly winds at 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the evening and east to southeasterly at 15 to 20 km/h late evening and a chance of rain.

North West:

Maximum temperature of around 30°C, minimum temperature between 13-17°C, easterly winds at 15-25 km/h turning southeasterly at 15-20 km/h, and mostly sunny conditions with overnight temperatures falling.

Channel Country:

Max temperature in the mid to high 20s, min temperature between 11 and 15, wind speed 15 to 20 km/h from the east to southeasterly, wind direction changing to east to northeasterly in the morning and back to east to southeasterly in the early afternoon, mostly sunny with no rainfall.

Maranoa and Warrego:

Mostly sunny with light winds; temperatures falling to 6-12°C overnight and reaching the mid 20s during the day; minimal wind and rainfall.

Darling Downs and Granite Belt:

Partly cloudy with fog possible in the far east early, slight shower chance over the Granite Belt, near zero rain elsewhere, light winds, overnight 8°C, daytime low to mid 20s.

Wide Bay and Burnett:

The weather will be partly cloudy with light winds, overnight temperatures falling to 9-15°C, daytime temperatures in the low to mid 20s, a medium chance of showers in the south, and a slight chance elsewhere, with no mention of wind speed and direction or rainfall values.

Southeast Coast:

The max temperature will be in the low 20s with light winds, a very high chance of showers near the coast and a high chance elsewhere, with overnight temperatures dropping to 10-15 and some fog possible in the early morning near the southern border, under partly cloudy skies.
