National - Warnings - 4 Day - State - Min-Max-Rain - Regional Round-Up
National
Well, it seems like a weak ridge is planning to stick around the east coast for a bit, flexing its muscles a bit more by Wednesday thanks to a high making its way over from southeastern Australia. Meanwhile, a trough is making its way east across southern Queensland, taking a pit stop in the southeast on Monday and Tuesday before getting tired and heading back west. Keep an eye out for a new trough possibly making an appearance in southern Queensland by Wednesday and making a grand exit off the east coast by Thursday or Friday. Nature sure knows how to keep us on our toes!

National 4 Day Forecast
Windy.com NEW ACCESS 4 Day Accumulated Rain and Synoptic
Monday, 9th September
Looks like the North West and Channel Country Districts are in for some rather balmy temperatures today. So, you might want to consider packing some extra deodorant before heading out.
Tuesday, 10th September
Prepare for some light showers in the eastern districts, which may spread out in southeast Queensland below Gympie and along the tropical east coast above Townsville and on northern Cape York Peninsula. Don't be surprised if you see some widespread showers on the North Tropical Coast. Keep an eye out for isolated showers near the coast in the western Gulf Country District. There's a slight chance of a thunderstorm in southeast Queensland below Gayndah, mostly away from the coast. The rest of the region will mostly enjoy sunny weather, but be cautious of potential morning fog in the eastern districts below Cardwell. Be wary of dry and gusty south to southeasterly winds, as they may increase the risk of high fire danger in far western Queensland. Expect temperatures to be higher than usual inland south of Richmond, and around average everywhere else.
Wednesday, 11th September
Prepare yourselves for a smattering of showers in the east and northern Cape York Peninsula, with a side of isolated rain in inland central and southern Queensland. Keep an eye out for the chance of thunderstorms in the southern and southeastern interior (east of Charleville and west of about Chinchilla), while those in the western Gulf Country District near the coast may experience a sprinkle or two. The rest of us can expect mostly sunny skies, with a possibility of morning fog in the east (south of Cardwell). Maximum temperatures will be above average inland south of Richmond, and near average everywhere else. Enjoy the varied weather offerings, my friends!
Thursday, 12th September
Prepare yourselves for a scattered smattering of isolated showers along the tropical east coast, with a chance of thunderstorms over central and southern Queensland. Don't forget your umbrellas if you happen to be near Ingham or the northern Cape York Peninsula. As for the western Gulf Country District, expect a few isolated showers near the coast. The rest of Queensland will be mostly sunny, so be sure to enjoy the sunshine while it lasts. However, be cautious of dry and gusty winds that may increase the risk of high fire danger ratings in parts of the western and northern interior regions. Temperatures will be above average inland south of Richmond and in southeast Queensland, but near average elsewhere. So, if you're in those areas, consider dressing accordingly to stay comfortable. Stay safe and dry out there!

Looks like Mother Nature is feeling a bit indecisive today, with a mix of clouds and a chance of showers along the coast. For those inland, you might just get a sprinkling if you're lucky. Winds will be blowing from the east to southeasterly direction at a moderate speed of 15 to 25 km/h. As the night falls, temperatures will drop to a cozy 14 to 20 degrees, giving you the perfect excuse to snuggle up in bed. During the day, expect temperatures to climb back up to a pleasant 23 to 29 degrees, giving you a reason to venture out and enjoy the day.

Expect some clouds hanging around, along with a touch of fog in the morning. There's a slight chance of a shower up north, but basically no chance anywhere else. Winds will start off light but will pick up to a breezy east to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h by midday, before calming down in the evening. Temperatures will dip to a cool 14 to 18 overnight, but climb to a warm 25 to 30 during the day.
Central Coast and Whitsundays
Looks like Mother Nature is feeling a bit indecisive today, with a mix of clouds and fog in the morning. As the night creeps in, temperatures will drop to a cozy 11 to 15 degrees, while daytime will see the mercury rise to a toasty 30 degrees.
Central Highlands and Coalfields
Prepare yourself for a potential visit from the fog in the wee hours of the morning. Expect a bright and cheery day ahead, with gentle breezes to keep things interesting. As night falls, temperatures will dip to a cozy 10-13 degrees, only to rise to a toasty 30 during the day. It's all part of the unpredictable rollercoaster ride we call weather!
Central West
Another day in paradise, with some breezy winds coming from the northeast to southeasterly direction at a leisurely pace of 15 to 20 km/h. These winds will later switch gears and pick up the pace to a more energetic 20 to 30 km/h from the south to southeasterly in the morning. As the night falls, temperatures will gracefully drop to a cozy range of 12 to 16 degrees, providing the perfect setting for a good night's sleep. However, don't get too comfortable, as daytime temperatures are expected to soar to the low to mid 30s, making it a great time to fry an egg on the sidewalk or to test the limits of your deodorant.
North West
Get ready for another scorching day under the blazing sun, with winds shifting from south to southeasterly and picking up speed throughout the morning. Overnight, temperatures will dip down to a slightly more bearable range of 14 to 17 degrees, but don't get too comfortable - daytime temperatures will soar into the low to mid 30s. So grab your sunscreen and stay hydrated, because it's going to be a hot one out there!
Channel Country
Get your umbrellas ready, folks! There's a slight chance of showers in the southeast in the wee hours of the morning, but don't worry, Mother Nature is keeping the rest of us high and dry. Expect some gusty winds coming from the south to southeasterly direction at speeds of 20 to 30 km/h. As the night creeps in, temperatures will drop to a cool 15 to 18 degrees, so maybe grab an extra blanket or two. Maranoa and Warrego
Expect some clouds hanging around, with a slight possibility of showers down south in the morning. Don't hold your breath for rain anywhere else though. There's a small chance of a thunderstorm in the southern regions, just to keep things interesting. The wind will be playing games, starting off light and then picking up speed in the morning. Temperatures will drop overnight, so make sure to grab an extra blanket. Daytime temperatures will be on the warmer side, reaching up to 30 degrees. So basically, it's going to be a mixed bag of weather - just like life in general.
Darling Downs and Granite Belt
Get your sunglasses ready, folks! It's going to be mostly sunny out there, with just a slight chance of a shower in the southwest - most likely while you're trying to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon siesta. Don't worry, the rest of us will likely stay dry. But watch out for a potential thunderstorm in the southwest during the morning and afternoon - Mother Nature likes to keep us on our toes, doesn't she? You can expect light winds that will eventually become south to southwesterly, reaching speeds of 15 to 25 km/h before calming down in the late evening. As for temperatures, prepare for a cool night with lows between 9 and 14 degrees, followed by a warm day with highs of 25 to 30 degrees. Overnight temperatures will drop to a chilly 10 to 13 degrees, while daytime temperatures will peak at around 30 degrees. Time to dust off those sunglasses and maybe a light jacket for the evening chill.
Southeast Coast
Wake up to some fog, because why not add a little mystery to your morning routine? Expect mostly sunny skies throughout the day, with just a slight chance of a shower down south in the late afternoon and evening. Don't worry, the rest of us will stay dry with near zero chance of rain. Keep an eye out for a possible thunderstorm in the south, which could potentially be severe - just to keep things interesting. Light winds will be making a cameo appearance, starting off from the east and then switching to the northeast at a speed of 15 to 20 km/h before deciding to take a break in the late afternoon.
