Today

For the NQ today, Port Douglas topped the rainfall with 104mm since 9am. The hottest location was Weipa. Warmer temps SW for the state.

Tonight

A convergence of cool air and warm has formed down on the South East and is slowing moving North along the SEQ.

4-day

Looks like there's a bit of a convergence happenin' down south-east, and it's headin' up the coast and gonna make it rain more until it hits Rocky on Thursday or Friday. There's also an inland trough that's slowly makin' its way to the coast, gonna produce some storms mainly for North East NSW and SEQ later in the week. Meanwhile, there'll be more storms for the peninsula, and rain will keep comin' towards it. Oh, and there's a low-pressure system brewin' off the QLD coast, gonna move back east on Friday when two Highs around the Tasman Sea get together and start to create another low-pressure system off the coast.
