A low-pressure system in the Tasman Sea brings cold and strong winds, along with large waves and showers to eastern New South Wales. In Western Australia's far south, southern South Australia, Victoria, and Tasmania, expect cool and brisk showers. Meanwhile, showers and storms hit Queensland's far north and the northwest of Western Australia, with the heaviest rainfall occurring near a tropical low in Western Australia.

North Tropical Coast and Tablelands:

Max temperature around 30, min temperature between 15 and 23, light winds becoming east to southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h, slight chance of a shower, mostly sunny conditions.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:

The weather will be sunny with light winds in the morning, becoming southeasterly at 15-20 km/h, then light later with temperatures ranging from 15-19 overnight and around 30 during the day.

Central Coast and Whitsundays:

The weather forecast includes a maximum temperature of 32°C, a minimum temperature of 14°C, wind speeds ranging from 15 to 25 km/h becoming light, a southerly to southeasterly wind direction, and there is a mention of sunny conditions with a possibility of rainfall.

Peninsula:

Max temperature: Low 30s, Min temperature: Low to mid 20s, Wind speed: Light becoming easterly 15 to 20 km/h, Wind direction: Easterly, Rainfall: High chance of showers north of Weipa, medium chance elsewhere, Other: Partly cloudy with chance of thunderstorms.

Central Highlands and Coalfields:

The weather forecast for today includes sunny skies with temperatures ranging from 23 to 31°C, light winds becoming southerly at 15 to 25 km/h, and overnight temperatures dropping to 10-15°C with no rainfall expected.

Central West:

Highs of 31, lows of 11-15, windy 25-35 km/h southerly to southeasterly, no rainfall, sunny.

North West:
