Expect showers and storms across northern QLD and the northeast of the NT due to humid and unstable easterly winds. Showers will develop in Tasmania and southern Victoria as a weak front moves through. Moist winds will also trigger showers over southern WA, northeast NSW, and eastern QLD. Elsewhere, dry conditions are expected due to high pressure.

  • Monday: Sporadic showers in northeast coastal areas, with possible thunderstorms in far northern regions. Mostly clear elsewhere. Light to moderate winds from northeast to southeast.

  • Tuesday: Isolated showers in the east, becoming scattered on the Central Coast and Cape York Peninsula. Widespread showers on the North Tropical Coast and eastern Peninsula, with moderate rainfall possible. Chance of thunderstorms on Cape York. Isolated showers or storms in southern and southeastern interior. Sunny in southwest, partly cloudy elsewhere. Strong winds on the northeast coast. Temperatures near or above average.

  • Wednesday: Mostly sunny in western Queensland, scattered showers elsewhere. Widespread showers possible in North Tropical Coast and Cape York Peninsula. Thunderstorms possible over Cape York Peninsula and inland parts of southern and southeast Queensland. Fresh southeasterly winds on east coast. Temps near or above average.

  • Thursday: Mainly sunny in far western Queensland, isolated to scattered showers elsewhere. Showers becoming widespread at times in North Tropical Coast and eastern Cape York Peninsula, with possible moderate to heavy rainfall. Some uncertainty in rainfall amounts and location. Chance of thunderstorms in Cape York Peninsula and southeastern Queensland. Temperatures near or above average.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:

The weather forecast includes maximum temperature of 32, minimum temperature of 17, wind speed of 15 to 25 km/h, wind direction from east to southeasterly, near zero chance of rain, and cloudy conditions with medium chance of showers in the north.

Central Coast and Whitsundays:

The weather will be partly cloudy with daytime temperatures between 27 to 32, overnight temperatures between 18 and 21, winds east to southeasterly at 20 to 30 km/h, and a slight chance of a shower with no specific rainfall amount mentioned.

Peninsula:

Max temperature: High 30s, Min temperature: Low 20s, Wind speed: 25-35 km/h, Wind direction: East to southeasterly, Rainfall: Showers likely, Conditions: Partly cloudy with chance of thunderstorm.

Gulf Country:

Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders:

Central West:

The weather will be mostly sunny with maximum temperatures in the low to mid 30s, minimum temperatures between 16 and 19, northeasterly winds at 20 to 30 km/h turning easterly at 15 to 25 km/h in the late morning, and no rainfall expected.

North West:

Max temperature reaching low to mid 30s, min temperature falling to 18-21, wind speed starting light and becoming east-northeasterly 15-25 km/h, rainfall absent, mostly sunny conditions throughout the day.

Channel Country:

Max temperature: low to mid 30s, Min temperature: between 17 and 21, Wind: south to southeasterly 20 to 30 km/h becoming light then 15 to 20 km/h later, Rainfall: None, Other: Partly cloudy.

Maranoa and Warrego:
