Tasman Sea high brings settled weather to Queensland. New high on Tuesday brings showers and winds. Cold front on Friday brings more unsettled conditions.

High pressure over the Tasman Sea brings settled weather to Queensland. A stronger high will move over southeastern Australia, bringing winds, showers, and unsettled weather to eastern districts. The high will slowly move eastward over the week. A cold front approaching from the south will impact southern Queensland, causing unsettled conditions.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy, scattered showers in the east and isolated showers in Herbert, Lower Burdekin, and Brisbane. Isolated showers are also possible in Central Highlands and Coalfields. Isolated afternoon thunderstorms in North Burnett and southern Capricornia. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Above average minimum temperatures. Near-average maximum temperatures in the east, well above average in western Queensland.
Thursday: Thursday: Partly cloudy with isolated showers in the east, becoming scattered in some coastal regions. Some clouds in other areas. Temperatures are above average, particularly in the southern interior and western QLD.
Friday: Friday: Partly cloudy with isolated coastal showers in the east, scattered showers in the North Tropical Coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Patchy morning fog in southeastern Queensland. Weekend: Partly cloudy with some showers in the east, mainly by the coast. Scattered showers are expected in the North Tropical Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Gold Coast. Isolated showers in the southern interior, with the chance of a thunderstorm in the Maranoa and Warrego on Saturday afternoon. Mostly sunny in other places. Maximum temperatures are above average in the west and near average in the east. Minimum temperatures above average.
