Thursday: Thursday will be dry and mostly sunny, but there may be isolated showers and thunderstorms in far southern and southeast Queensland. There could be morning fog in the Gulf Country and eastern regions between Innisfail and Mackay. Maximum temperatures will be above average, especially inland. Minimum temperatures will be below average in the north but above average elsewhere, with well above average temperatures in the southwest. Winds will be moderate from the northeast to northwest, becoming fresh at times in the southern half of the state before a southwesterly wind change in the southwest. There will be a high fire danger in central interior, southern, and southeastern districts.
Friday: Friday: Mostly sunny with isolated showers in southern and southeastern Queensland. Morning fog in the Gulf Country and between Innisfail and Rockhampton. Moderate to fresh west to southwesterly winds across central, southern, and southeast Queensland. Maximum temperatures below average in the Channel Country, above average elsewhere, and well above average in central and southeast Queensland. Minimum temperatures below average in the far north, above average elsewhere. High fire danger in central interior and southeastern districts.
Saturday: Mostly sunny with frost in Granite Belt. Windy, high fire danger in central, southern, and southeast Queensland. Above average temps on east coast. Above average min temps in central and southeast Queensland, below average elsewhere.
Sunday: Dry and mostly sunny. Isolated showers on the exposed coast in eastern Queensland from Monday. Morning frost in southern interior. Fresh and gusty south-southeasterly winds in western Queensland on Saturday, becoming southwesterly in southeast and central Queensland. High fire danger in central, southern, and southeast Queensland due to dry and windy conditions. Winds easing and turning more onshore along the east coast, reducing fire danger. Above average maximum temperatures decreasing along the east coast from Sunday. Below average maximum temperatures across the interior becoming above average by Monday. Minimum temperatures above average in central and southeast Queensland on Saturday, otherwise below average.
