Queensland ridge weakens as high moves east. Trough may move east across southern and central Queensland late next week.
State
A strong high in the Tasman Sea will extend a ridge over the state. A weak trough will move east across southern Queensland on Saturday, weakening on Sunday. A high will move east across southern Australia, extending a new ridge over the state from the weekend. The ridge will weaken as the high moves east and reaches the Tasman Sea on Tuesday. A trough may move east across southern and central Queensland late next week.
