Monsoon:
Tropical Cyclone 03P (Jasper) is approaching the QLD coast now. The BOM has a warning zone, and a more specific region destructive winds and very destructive winds zone. At this point cylones can make last minute alterations and so its just safe to presume that the orange warning zone is where you should expect possible destructive winds or storm surge.
Storms:
Tropical Cyclone Jasper is expected to impact the north QLD coast, bringing intense rain, winds, large waves, and storm surge. Troughs will trigger showers and storms in the northern tropics, western QLD, NSW, VIC, and TAS, with some being intense.
Troughs will draw heat to the east and southeast.

Tropical Cyclone Jasper heads west across Coral Sea, to hit north Queensland coast on Wednesday. The remnants move into Gulf of Carpentaria on Friday, then continue west. Tasman Sea high keeps ridge over southern and central Queensland. Far west trough brings heat, unsettled conditions in southern Queensland.

Tropical Cyclone Jasper moves west in the Coral Sea, expected to reach north Queensland coast on Wednesday, then continue to the Gulf of Carpentaria. Tasman Sea high maintains ridge over southern and central Queensland. Western trough moves east, bringing heat and unsettled conditions.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:
Max temperature of 31, min temperature of low to mid 20s, wind speeds of 35 to 50 km/h turning easterly, possibility of damaging wind gusts, and chance of showers and thunderstorm.
Central Coast and Whitsundays:
