Special report
Christmas Day Rainfall for NQ
Storms start early in the day and slowly push East , however, the trough will not move much and showers will barely make the coast. Some models have the showers reaching earlier in the day, ACCESS doesn't have that confidence. Heavier rain for the Central Highlands where storms develop over the dividing ranges. Given the surprising showers and rain we have had the last few days, expect some stray weak troughs about the coast, the forecasts are obviously not able to pick these up. With the conditions we have, expect showers to rain, the amount of instability is about as much as you can expect.
