The weather for the Country Fest is looking fine for the 2 days, 0mm rainfall forecast at the moment. I will keep you updated.
Monsoon Update
TC Megan currently crossing the coast and expected to pass East of Borroloola and then start to turn more SE then ESE over the next 24 hours. This has brought some showers as far South as Proserpine from the monsoon trough being dragged further South which is currently sitting around Port Douglas.
Pink concerts in Townsville looks to be expecting light showers for the Friday and heavier showers on the Saturday but easing back in the late afternoon. This is dependant on the low forming at the moment around Cairns.
Easter a little bit of a change with 1 to 5mm expected Friday through to Monday, but expecting some more changes as we get closer.
National
Ex-Tropical Cyclone Megan and monsoon troughs could cause heavy rain, storms, and strong winds in tropical areas. Strong winds after a front might bring showers and storms in NSW, eastern Victoria, and Tasmania. Unstable weather in western and central WA could also lead to showers and storms. Other areas will likely stay dry.
