Easter The trough will sit close to the Western QLD border on Friday and from there continue to shift West and leave only trade wind rainfall along the coast with a few slightly heavier showers along the more exposed coastline being near Innisfail and the Whitsundays. So Easter is looking a lot clearer today.

Along the southeastern coastline, there are showers due to cool onshore winds. Across the rest of southern Australia, it is mostly calm and dry, as high pressure dominates.
