National
High pressure over the Tasman Sea is bringing humid air into a large trough over western Queensland. Moisture will stay high for days due to this stagnant pressure pattern. Moving east across southern Australia, upper troughs will increase shower and thunderstorm
activity in the interior. The trough and its associated showers and storms might reach eastern districts next week.
State
A stagnant high pressure system is bringing humid air into western Queensland, keeping moisture levels well above average. Upper troughs moving east across southern Australia will increase shower and thunderstorm activity. This weather pattern may extend into eastern districts next week.
