Troughs in the interior will bring rain, showers, and storms to northern New South Wales, Queensland, the Northern Territory, South Australia's north, and Western Australia's north.
A low-pressure system and troughs in the southeast, along with onshore winds, will produce showers and some storms over Victoria and Tasmania. Western Australia's west will experience hot weather due to a trough drawing in hot air.

Upper troughs moving east across southern Australia will increase shower and thunderstorm activity in the interior and northwest of the state. This focus may shift to eastern districts next week.

Sunday: Cloudy with scattered showers in the southeast and along the east coast. Showers and thunderstorms in the interior, northwest, and Gulf Country, becoming isolated in the far southwest. Severe thunderstorms possible in the central, northern, and southern interior, and northwest. East to northeasterly winds, shifting to south to southeasterly in the Channel Country.
Monday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms across most of southern QLD, with heavy falls in some areas. Isolated showers and storms in the southwest and northern Peninsula. Lower temperatures in the northwest, higher temperatures in the southeast and northern Peninsula.
Tuesday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms in most of Queensland, becoming widespread with areas of rain in central and southern areas. Possible severe thunderstorms in the far south. Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the far west and northern Peninsula. Temperatures below average in the central interior and northwest, above average in the far southwest and northern Peninsula.
Wednesday: Possible scattered showers and thunderstorms in eastern and northern districts, becoming more widespread in southeastern Queensland. Severe thunderstorms are possible in central and southeastern districts, but there is uncertainty about the specific area. Maximum temperatures will be above average in the east and the Peninsula.
North Tropical Coast and Tablelands:
Daytime: 27-33°C, Overnight: 18-23°C, Winds: NE to SE 15-20 km/h (becoming light before dawn, then E to NE 15-20 km/h in the morning). Partly cloudy, chance of showers (medium in the south, slight elsewhere), potential afternoon/evening thunderstorms.
