A drifting high over the Coral Sea will keep a weak ridge over the east. A trough will move over southern Queensland from Monday and may move off the southeast coast by Tuesday or Wednesday. After the trough, a weak ridge will extend over the state. Another trough may cross southern and central Queensland on Thursday and Friday.
