Regions of Australia

Sometimes I will post a region that may receive rain or storms or whatever it is. This map from the BOM site should help to identify the regions.

However for QLD I tend to refer to what the BOM calls Northern tropics as the Far Northern tropics. North of Mackay is North QLD. So more like this map.
