Queensland Synoptic
Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred has lost its mojo in southern Queensland and joined forces with a trough stretching through western and southern Queensland into New South Wales, with a ridge hanging out in eastern Queensland getting ready to flex its muscles on Thursday thanks to a new high cruising into the Tasman Sea, causing the trough to head west into central Australia, where the ridge plans to crash the party and stick around for the weekend.
