For the QLD today, the far West had the highest temps with Birdsville 39. Warmer temps along the NQ coast than yesterday with the cloud cover clearing.
Cairns to Cooktown had the most rainfall today, the trade winds easing as winds start to turn to North Easterlies.
Tonight
Mainly clear tonight with the small exception of the Far North QLD coastline with showers to rain early morning.
4-day
A weak low developed down in the SE QLD over the weekend. The trough in NSW moving East building storms each day over NE NSW and gradually moving closer to the QLD border over the weekend. This should result in an East Coast Low forming off the QLD coast on Sunday and heading to the SE away from QLD on Monday. Another feature is a low moving into central Australia.
