Queensland Synoptic
Northern Queensland will continue to experience slow-moving troughs while eastern Queensland enjoys a persistent ridge, with the possibility of a developing trough in the far northern Coral Sea and a weak tropical low drifting away from the east coast over the weekend.
Forecast for Herbert and Lower Burdekin:
Looks like we've got some peekaboo clouds today with a sprinkle or two possible, mainly in the late morning and afternoon. The winds will be playing musical chairs, starting off light and then doing a little twist to the east at 15 to 20 km/h before calling it a day. As for the temperatures, we'll be chilling in the low 20s overnight and heating things up to the low 30s during the day. Don't forget your sunglasses and umbrella, it's going to be a mixed bag out there!
