How to spot the monsoon trough

There are low pressure troughs and there is the monsoon trough. The same thing, one is just more intense. The monsoon sits over to the equator. And the equator has lots of sun and humidity. So in our wet season the monsoon trough drifts South, and you can see it using Windy.com with the setting in Wind, and any Model setting.

Then if you see me saying we have a Monsoon Pulse in our region, move the map to the top of Australia and look for the wind flowing South from the equator and where that air meets air from the South. There will be a slight gap if the monsoon is active. That is where it is pushing up storms.
