Rain is expected to move towards the eastern coastline, affecting areas like New South Wales and southwest Queensland due to humid easterly winds associated with high pressure. Meanwhile, there will be showers and thunderstorms in the far north of Queensland and the eastern Top End, where the weather is unstable. However, most other areas will remain dry as they're under the influence of high pressure, except for the western parts of the Northern Territory and Western Australia, where hot and dry winds are forecasted.
