Tasmania experiences gusty showers, occasionally heavy, driven by onshore winds. The Top End of the Northern Territory sees lighter showers due to humid winds. Large high over Tasman Sea brings settled conditions with coastal showers. High moves east, weak trough in western QLD on Sunday, deepens and moves east into southern interior on Monday before weakening mid-week. Strong high develops in Southern Ocean mid-week.

North Tropical Coast and Tablelands:

Maximum temperature: 28°C, minimum temperature: 17°C, wind speed: 20 to 30 km/h, wind direction: east to southeasterly, rainfall: high chance of showers, partly cloudy with showers most likely in morning and afternoon, overnight temperatures falling between 17 and 22°C.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:

Max temperature: 30°C, Min temperature: 17°C, Wind speed: 15-25 km/h, Wind direction: Southeasterly, Rainfall: High chance of showers in the north, slight chance elsewhere, Other: Partly cloudy.

Central Coast and Whitsundays:

The weather will be mostly sunny with daytime temperatures reaching around 30°C, overnight temperatures falling to between 16 and 20°C, wind speeds of 25 to 35 km/h from the east to southeasterly direction, with a medium chance of showers near the coast and a slight chance elsewhere, with no mention of rainfall amount.

Peninsula:

Maximum temperature in the low to mid 30s, minimum temperature in the low 20s, wind speed of 20 to 30 km/h from the east to southeasterly direction, slight chance of a shower near the east coast, near zero chance elsewhere, partly cloudy conditions.

Gulf Country:

The maximum temperature will reach the low 30s, with minimum temperatures falling to between 19 and 22, light winds becoming easterly at 15 to 25 km/h in the morning, before becoming light in the evening with partly cloudy skies and no rainfall expected.

Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders:

Max temperature: 32°C, Min temperature: 16°C, Wind: Easterly 20 to 30 km/h, Rainfall: Slight chance in east, Other: Partly cloudy evening with overnight temperatures between 16-19°C.

Capricornia:

Maximum temperature: Mid to high 20s, minimum temperature: Between 13 and 18, wind speed: Southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light before dawn then becoming east to southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the morning, wind direction: Southeasterly to east to southeasterly, rainfall: Slight chance of a shower near the coast, near zero chance elsewhere, other: Partly cloudy.

Central Highlands and Coalfields:

The day will see partly cloudy skies with easterly winds at 20-30 km/h becoming light later, temperatures dropping to 12-17°C overnight, with daytime highs of 25-30°C, and no rainfall expected.

Central West:

Partly cloudy day with max temperature around 30, min temperature between 14-17, easterly winds at 25-35 km/h becoming light in the evening, and possible rainfall with overnight temperatures dropping to 14-17.

North West:

The weather will be partly cloudy with maximum temperatures in the low 30s, minimum temperatures between 14 and 19, winds starting light and becoming easterly at 15 to 25 km/h in the morning, and daytime temperatures reaching the low 30s.

Channel Country:

Mostly sunny with max temperature around 30, min temperature between 11 to 15, wind speeds changing from south to southeasterly to light then southeast to southwesterly at 15 to 20 km/h, and no rainfall.

Maranoa and Warrego:

The weather forecast includes a maximum temperature of around 30 degrees, minimum temperature between 12 and 15 degrees, light winds becoming east to northeasterly reaching 20 to 30 km/h in the morning and then becoming light in the evening, and mostly sunny conditions with no rainfall expected.
