State

A trough will move across central and southern Queensland, enhancing showers and storms. Another trough will move slowly through the Central Coast and coastal waters, extending into offshore Southeast Queensland. A ridge along the tropical east coast will strengthen slightly as a high moves into the Tasman Sea. The troughs will weaken on Tuesday as the upper trough moves offshore. A trough may deepen over central Australia and southwestern Queensland later in the week.
