National
A low pressure trough is developing off the WA coast and may deepen enough to bring rain to the region around Port Hedland in the next few days. Storms likely to severe along that part of the coast. The remnants of the trough in NSW is possibly developing storms today and that will push closer to QLD. A low out in the Coral Sea continues to move away from QLD.
State
Might need the umbrella 🌂 this arvo when leaving work in the Far North but that's about it. The convergence is making its way past Mackay to Townsville by the end of today. So some showers as it moves through Mackay and the Whitsunday
4-day
The next 4 days pretty clear even with the rain returning Monday to the top end. The South East has storms creeping across the border from tomorrow and decreasing each day through to Monday.
