National

An inland trough will bring more showers and thunderstorms to inland southern and central districts. A high near Tasmania will slowly drift east, maintaining a weak ridge along the east coast. The ridge will extend through southeast Queensland on Monday, then through the rest of eastern Queensland from Tuesday, pushing the trough and moisture further into western Queensland. Another trough may arrive in far southwest Queensland next weekend.
